Chewing on what?

For the past couple days Benjamin has been doing the chewing motion all the time, literally, all the time. I don't know if it is the fact that we are giving him soft solid food that he chews like a big boy(still no teeth) or he just discovered he knows how to do that motion and loves to do it. Last night we were playing with him downstairs and he didn't have anything in his mouth and I asked David what he was chewing on and his response made me speechless, absolutely speechless, he said "probably dog hair". Normal people would probably laugh and say probably, but anyone who really knows me knows that I am a clean freak so that comment only made me heartbroken. What did i do, of course I had to clean the house, duh!

The lesson that I learned here is that sweeping the house is now an everyday task, not just twice a week task. It will be like brushing your teeth in the morning or putting your shoes on to leave the house, right?

Standing

Benjamin is growing up WAY to fast for me. Every morning we wonder what new trick he is going to be doing that day. Yesterday it was standing up leaning on something. Here is a picture of him doing that while feeling the blinds. Wonder what new things he will be doing this weekend, can't wait!

New Camera!!

This past weekend we had decided to buy a new camera since our other one broke (we need to capture all these moments) so we made our way out to Best Buy. Thanks to his Mimi, Benjamin got to use his new shopping cart cover to keep all the germs away so we didn't have to hold him the entire time. It even came with a pillow which Benjamin actually used because he got tired of Daddy stressing about spending money.

The best news is that Best Buy sometimes has open items on their shelves and we get a new camera for half the price, but with our experiences we for sure got the 3 year protection plan. So everyone please be prepared to have a lot of photos coming your way once we learn how to use it.

Best Friends!

Benjamin LOVES Cocoa's toys which makes Cocoa think that he wants to play. Every time Benjamin is playing on the floor Cocoa is close by waiting for the signal from us that it's ok to play and she is always on her best behavior, but we are still cautious.

What taste better???

When Benjamin is hungry, there is no stopping him. He will either wave his arms and kick his legs around or whine through the whole meal not even realizing that he is eating...I swear I feed him though. I was introducing some zucchini squash and he was more interested in his foot then the veggie.

Ready, Set, ...or not!

Benjamin wants to crawl so badly! He gets up off his belly like he knows how to crawl and just rocks himself for a minute or so and then straightens out his legs. He is so close which only warns me that David and I need to baby proof our house soon.
