Way past overdue! Charlotte’s hair was getting a little
crazy and uneven at the end so we decided to clean it up a little bit so she
got her first trim. She doesn’t look happy but did amazing!

Florida
Katie, Ali and I took a fun little birthday weekend to
Florida to visit Abbie for all our birthday fun. We surprised Abbie and had a
blast all weekend! I am so thankful for my friends and love that we get to do
crazy, fun things like this. I will NEVER forget this trip!

School Halloween Fun
Both kids had a parade & party to celebrate Halloween. Benjamin had a blast parading around school and then playing some games with his classmates. I think it might have helped that David and I were able to attend the events.
Charlotte, not so much fun was had. She would not participate in the parade and only watched from a distance. She wouldn’t even participate at the party so we had to leave shortly after arriving. Where is Minnie Mouse...
Pumpkin Fun
I went out of my comfort zone and let the kids paint pumpkins.
As you can tell, I made them take off all their clothes even though it was
washable paint. We turned our heads for two minutes, or David was busy
grilling, and they were covered in paint…Started painting themselves.
Rocket Man
I got tickets to the Elton John concert and David couldn’t
go due to having class so big Al took his place. Just our luck we got upgraded
to front row seats for having a ladies night out. We even got to meet up with
Katie and Jack who of course were there also even though it wasn’t a Garth
Brooks concert.
Hair Donation
I
did it again! I donated 11 inches of my hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. I
told myself last time that I wouldn’t do it again but ended up doing it again.
I told myself this time that I wouldn’t do it again so guess we will see what
my thoughts are in two years when my hair is really long again.
