Benjamin just discovered his goods so now I change his diaper as quick as possible. I honestly don't know if I am ready to raise a boy yet, but guess here we go...

My Baby is ONE!!

Where did the last year go...for real? I can't believe that my baby is one already, they really do grow up fast. He had his year check-up today and I think his new nickname should be string bean. He is 32" tall (100 percentile) and weighs 20.2lbs (30 percentile). The doctor said that he is as healthy (but skinny) as a kid can be. He was also impressed on how well his first year was, commented twice on how he has only seen him on check-up appointments. First Cardinal Baseball Game

My boss offered me some great tickets to the Cardinal game this past Sunday so we decided to take Benjamin to his first game. Other then not sitting still, he did great! We took my mom and brother with us and got there in at the top of the 2nd and left at the bottom of the eighth. It was perfect weather and surprise, surprise we saw a loss.

Meet Avery Harper Lyman

Benjamin's godfather had a girl!!! Avery Harper Lyman! She was born at 10:48am, weighing 8lbs 10oz, measuring 21 inches. Family is doing great!!

 

 

Off to Mimi's House We Go...

The first week of May; David, Benjamin and I went to visit Mimi and Grandpa in Columbia, South Carolina. It was such a great vacation that we wish they lived closer so we could see them more often. They rolled out the red carpet for us, as they always do, and it was nice seeing them interact with Benjamin. We had great food, good company, and a lot of relaxation and of course a lot of spoiling the baby! He got a lot of new toys (I thought we were going to need another car to get all our stuff home)!

David took me to Myrtle Beach for two days to celebrate our anniversary which was much needed. We had a great time, but talked about the baby the whole time we were away from him. HA!

Birthday Party!!

I can't believe that my little man is turning one so soon. He doesn't need anything but for your company to help him celebrate but if you wish to get him something he has been updating his wish list with a couple ideas ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/ref=wish_list).

Popsicle

Benjamin is teething badly so why not give him a Popsicle?!

The ice cream truck came by our house house the other day so we thought we would buy Benjamin his first Popsicle, and he loved it. What a perfect treat!
